Children & Food Drive
Beta Kappa Theta collected $500.00 for
the Angel Tree! We were able to provide for 13 "Angels". We
also were able to collect 2,400 food items which we took to the
Family Center. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!

We DID IT!
Columbia State’s Phi
Theta Kappa has successfully raised
$ 1000.00 for the Blood :
Water Mission!
Every $1000.00 donated to the Blood: Water
Mission provides enough funds to build a fresh-water well that will
provide clean water to an entire community in Africa for years to come!
Thanks to everyone who helped us reach our
goal.

fellowship later that day at Jackson Falls on Natchez Trace Parkway.
Maury
County Clean Up
The annual Maury County Clean Up Day
encourages residents to take to the streets cleaning ditches and
road shoulders of accumulated litter. Beta Kappa Theta chapter
arrived at the school early Saturday, April 19, in hopes of a large
turn out. With students, faculty, and staff present, over 20 people
cleared the sections of Casey Lane, Hampshire Pike, and Rutherford
Lane adjacent to the Columbia State Community College campus. Shane
Hall, student and Phi Theta Kappa member, comments on the chill of a
windy morning, “Brrr, trash picking machine.” A special thanks is
given to all Maury County McDonalds’ for providing lunch to the
volunteers. (Pictures)
