Tennessee Region Convention and Banquet

The Beta Kappa Theta chapter attended the Phi Theta Kappa Tennessee Region Convention and Banquet at the Opryland Hotel on April 10. For the third year in a row the Beta Kappa Theta chapter earned a Five Star ranking (the highest ranking a chapter can achieve) and a Chapter of Light award for initiating twelve different service projects recognized by Phi Theta Kappa International. The Beta Kappa Theta chapter also won first place in the regional Newsletter competition – kudos to Glenna Winters and Kayla Love. Regional Literary Awards went to Sean Young for 2nd Place in the Short Story competition and to David Sercel for 3rd place in the Essay competition. Regional Visual Arts Awards went to David Sercel and Tamelia Lindsay, 2nd and 4th place respectively. (Hold ctrl key and click on an image to Zoom)
